Take That Ticket - Question - Want to sell @ face value

piratefairy wrote: »Really if you want to sell on ebay, you need to wait until you physically have the tickets, and then list.
Otherwise, you could get an INR case / dispute opened against you, with no way of winning it as you can't prove physical delivery of somerthing you haven't posted.
Where did you buy it from ? I take it this was today? Can't you call up customer services from wherever you got the tickets, and explain? They may be able to change your order?
Or sell it to a person you'd want to go with, in person when the tickets arrive?
hmm, im not too sure :'( but thats the problem, i do not know when i will receive it? :'(
And i bought it from TicketMaster and i think it may of already gone through now, so its abit late i think?0 -
Well then you'll have to list on ebay when they arrive, I guess.
Sorry :S0 -
But then what if it does not sell?0

Then your mistake has cost you the face value of one ticket.
But I imagine given the hype about the tickets / concert tour that it would do.
If you try and sell it before, a buyer could open a not received case anytime up to 45days after the listing.
You may not have received your tickets by then yourself, so if you haven't sent them, paypal would refund the buyer their money. Which seems more hassle than it's worth to me.0 -
But then what if it does not sell?
Its a Take That ticket and the website is crashing. Because it's too busy and there are lots of people trying to get tickets. I think it will sell nearer the time and probably sell well!
You cannot sell it now as you dont have the phyisical ticket to sell.0 -
simple phone ticketmaster and explain, worst they can say is no but i don't see why not!0

It probably will sell! If you are not desperate for the cash I would wait until you get the ticket - these aren't usually posted out until nearer the event. I bought 2 tickets to see Lee Mack last November and the show isn't until 28th November THIS year and the tickets aren't being dispatched until 7th November.
As somebody else said - you could ring them up.
Personally I would hold on to it as it is more than likely it will sellThe more one gets to know of men, the more one values dogs.0 -
I'd list it on ebay at face value.
When I had a ticket to see a band and couldn't make it I listed it for the price I paid and it went straight away
Do you mean buy it now? Let a tout buy it and make a profit! Seems silly to me.
Is there nobody who you know that would go with you? Surely there are millions of fans.0 -
Already on Ebay for 150 quid
Out of interest where is it for ?Have a nice day

They usually send them out about a week before, to stop touts selling them on!
Just list it on ebay when you receive it for say £75 "Buy it Now" offering free postage, then make sure you send it special delivery to your buyer. That should cover all your costs and find you a buyer.
Worst case scenario is that you sell it for face value on the door.
Do you not have a friend to take? You come across as a bit intense and scary, giving people just 1 minute to reply before posting again with "anyone?????????????"!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
