Farm Foods

Does anybody here shop at Farm Foods and could say how it compares to supermarkets like Morrisons, Tesco etc.

A Farm Foods has opened up near to my Mum and she is raving how good it is and as me and OH might be cooking on a very tight budget I wondered whether it would be worth shopping there

Thanks

It is well worth a visit.

Not all things to our liking but a lot of good bargains to be had.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

farm foods do a lot of branded products at other stores special offer prices. Difference is, it is farm foods normal price. I'd highly recommend a visit. once you have been you will be able to see for yourself if it is a place that is good for you or not.
It is definitely good for a tight budget BUT they dont have a very big selection of fruit or veg.
    Hope that helps.

Its good value, but only stocks Frozen Foods (well, it is a freezer centre!) and some ambient lines - I think some stores might have chillers that sell milk etc but not sure; it's a while since I've been :)

I find that better value is to be had at some of the smaller freezer centres. I don't know whereabouts in the country you are, but in Bradford we have a Jack Fulton (now known as Fulton's Foods) and a Heron Frozen Foods, both of which are excellent.

    Hope to help

Ours has started stocking fresh fruit and veg which is amazing value. it's all 2 packs for a £ and they're really generous packs. I tend to buy only branded items but even things like mars bars are 5 for a £! Also they sell haribo sweets really cheap and help me feed my addiction:o

love them cant get enough from them.. they stock a lot of the scottish lines like scottish bread, sausages blackpudding tattie scones etc... they do a lot of decent items and prices are way cheaper than some of the other places ive seen.. i travel 15 miles to my nearest store once a month and get a small chest freezer full for around £40.... couldnt praise them enough ..

    Hi bunnie,

As there is already a Farmfoods thread on the Shop but don't drop board, I have moved your thread over there so that they can be merged.
