    It really only applies to public WiFi where the wireless is unencrypted. Most home users will be encrypting the connection to their routers with WPA (or perhaps WEP). You would be immune to this thing in that case. Or certainly in my case where I don't use wireless at all and have turned it off.

    Ah that would make sense. I wondered why I was able to get cookies on a particular wifi network. It is actually 802.1x secured, not WPA or WEP.
