Tv for youngest who just plays xbox on it

Youngest wants a large screen tv for xmas to play his xbox on it, that is all he does, he never watches tv in his room or needs it to be hd ready or freeview etc, any ideas on a cheap and cheerful one that does not have to be all singing and dancing?

A decent screen for playing games is more important than one fo just watching TV.

Fast action moving games can leave a blur/trail on the screen, Is it an old xbox or a 360?

If its the 360 i would have thought HD resolution was a must.
