Best way to send item sold on eBay.

Looking at selling some old stuff on eBay, and wondered what is the best way to post it? Which service is it that requires the buyer to sign for it?

Special dleivery is the only service which guarantees a signature but if you use that for all your items you will be too expensive and won't sell anything. There is a cheaper option of recorded but that is not good enough for paypal as it rarely ever gets signed for or updated online.

However if items are under £41 all standard mail, apart from exceptions like jewellery, vouchers etc are covered against los svia RM so most people just use that and make sure they keep certificates of posting for 180 days.

For items over £41 you must use special delivery or a courier service with online tracking.
