non paying ebayer what should i do

I am having trouble with an ebay member who has purchased from me but i am pretty sure that she has no intentions of paying. I invoiced her after the sale but didnt hear anything so contacted her and ask how she was paying coz thought she might be paying by cheque. She replied very stroppily and said she was paying via paypal but 2 days later still no payment i am sure she is messing around i have given her til the weekend to pay but i dont have much hope!!!!! I mean how long does it take. She had originally offerer me a ridiculous offer price for the item but i refused. Has anyone else had time wasters? It is so frustrating!

Don't sweat it. Just wait your 7 days and start your NPB claim with EBay. I wouldn't even contact them again. It is just not worth the hassle.
  • Thanks Hintza dont think i will contact them again it is just so frustrating but hey guess there are lots of people out there like that arent there

In my early ebay days I used to e-mail, phone them asking if they needed any help...waste of time!!

Im in exactly the same boat with a none paying bidder.
However, when I got a reply from him, he stated that if I negged him, he would do the same to me!
Im really, really annoyed at this - He won my item fair and square, then threatens to neg me if I justifiably neg him!!!
Theres got to be a way to stop this happening? Surely the system is fundamentally flawed when someone can use the threat of a neg to prevent being left a justifiable neg themselves?

Im now in the position where Im thinking I will just submit an NPB complaint to recover my fees, and leave it at that!

    Any advice appreciated,
    Andy

Andy, if you go through the formal NPB dispute and the buyer does not respond he loses the ability to leave you a feedback rating.

If he does respond then he can leave feedback.

  • Can't you close the NPB after 8 days even if they respond and get them a NPB strike?

You can close the dispute as soon as the tick in dispute console turns blue. It turns blue either after 8 days if the buyer has not responded, or as soon as the buyer does respond.

  • Well they paid the day i could file the dispute. So posted the item out to them a few days ago. Now i dont know wat to do about feedback because they havent left me any yet and i dont really feel i can leave them positive feedback the way the messed me around. The thing is my business is only just starting up and am worried she will leave me negative feedback if i leave her it. I just feel other sellers need to be aware of her. what would you do.
