DWP forgot about me?

A few months back I posted on here that I'd received a letter from the DWP/JCP stating that they were coming to visit me at home as there was a problem with my benefits claim. The letter had a date that didn't suit (as I work and it was too short notice) so I called and the man dealing with my case basically said that it was a waste of my time and his and he'd leave it a month or so and then contact me to synchronise diaries and he could come out then.

Yesterday access to work did a random spot check on me, called work and the taxi company to see that i still work there and still get taxis, and there was a small problem with paperwork which is all ironed out now but it occurred to me that the man from the DWP hasn't got back in touch with me about the query from all that time ago, should I chase this up or should I let him get round to me in his own time?

All my DLA has come in as normal, as have tax credits, sisters carers allowance for me and the taxi company say that they're being paid on time too.
