Fuel Problems - Ford Mondeo

Just an update.
I had the batetry on charge over night and trickled charged it.
Put it back in today after leaving the car with no power for an hour or so, put the battery it and then put the clamps back on the battery and left it for 5 minutes and then started it, it turned over first time on the key and the Rev's went up to but not over 1200 RPM on its own.
Left it idle, which it did fine and then after it warmed up I Rev'd it up to 1200 |RPM and kept it there for a few minutes, then drove off up the M5 and did a total of 60 miles, almost reaching London :T
Anyway came back on normal roads so it went up and down the gearbox (it's a auto).
Got back and all seems fine, it's idling at 500 RPM, as it has always done.
The battery indicator is stating the battery is healthy and now fully charged, even after the drive, so I'm hopeful now I have resolved the problem.
I have so far done 130 miles to £30 and there is still a lot left in the tank., so think the performance has improved, a lot!
The trip computer is also fully working and reading correctly.
May I just thank each and every one of you for your time and help with regards all this and your advice, as it really has helped.
Hopefully the battery will now stay up but should it go down, I just buy a new one as all readings appear fine with the car itself.
Thank you0 -
So basically the problem was electrical and the electrical fault caused the car to run rich!0
