Does Natwest Platinum give you any other advantages?

Hi,

I recently applied and was accepted for the Natwest Platinum CC, which allowed me to do a balance transfer for 0% for 15 months.

I wonder does Natwest's Mastercard Platinum provide you with any other added advantages, for instance, free insurance etc.?

Does Mastercard themselves provide any benefits for someone who holds their Platinum card?

I've had a card for about 7 years now.

There has been nothing that special about owning one IMO. They used to have quite a few offers on bottles of wine, not something I like myself.

Other than that if you want another product from Natwest, sometimes having another one of their products such as a credit card will give you a small discount. I.E. something like 5% off our home insurance if you hold a credit card.

When my balance has been at £0 and I haven't used the card for a few months, I have had further offers on balance transfers and purchases to the card. I have had 3 or 4 offers in the past couple of years for 0% for 9 months on BT's. I have had 1 or 2 for 0% on purchases, but usually only for 3 months.

Strangely since I have started using my card more regularly over the past 6 months, I have had a credit limit increase this month, something I haven't had for about 5 years.
