Hi I'm new to the site and wondering if anyone can help me regarding my ib review. I received a letter last year saying that a normal review would be carried out on the 8 oct 2010. I have been expecting an IB50 but this has not arrived yet.

Just wondering if this is to do with the goverments announcements regarding ESA or if I can expect one in the near future. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Possibly but not neccessarily. My review earlier in the year was due and it was a good 3 months before I got an IB50! I had the date in writing so phoned JCP only to be told actually it's xx date, and they kept putting it back for no reason I could fathom.

The national IB migration process doesn't begin until Spring next year so you may receive an IB50 in the next few weeks and then be subject to the IB ---> ESA migration at a future date. The review date on your letter isn't always set in stone, I've heard of people not getting their IB50s until months after the review date on their letter.
