can I connect 2 Pc's to 1 screen

Hi

is it possible to conect two pc's to one monitor? (1 desk top & 1 laptop)

and have some kind of switch - charnge from one to another

Lots of Dsub splitters available on a quick Google. Not sure though if you'll need 1 male -> 2 female, or 1 female -> 2 male. The cable on their own won't differentiate though, you'd likely need to buy a splitter box so you can choose which machine is active.

My PC guru has two PC attached to an old Ilyama CRT might be worth checking them out. Has a button on the monitor to switch between the two.

You want something called a "KVM switch" which stands for keyboard, video and mouse.

Lots of different types available - some also switch your speakers and offer different types of connectors for keyboards, monitors etc:
