Unreceived Item - advice required

I have recently bought 18 items from a seller - two of which were not included in the parcel. I have emailed them several times and thay have said that since the parcel was not damaged as far as they are concerned all of the items were included at the time of despatch and therefore this is not their problem. I am going to mark these items as unreceived when 10 days have elapsed, but I am shocked that they are not willing to reimburse or send the items again to resolve the problem. They are a powerseller and do not seem worried that I may leave negative feedback.

Has anyone been in this situation where you have received the parcel from seller but items are missing? I am new to ebay and this is my first bad experience.

hhmm sorry not had this problem before, what is their feedback like? have any comments been made about parcels not being complete etc?
I would think that once you start the item not received process they may well send the ither items on to you. Fingers crossed they do :)

This seller looks like they have done this before and the previous buyers have listed neutral feedback. Looks like I am not the first person!

Give him enough time to re send and make 100% sure that he did post. He should refund and claim back from post office if they got lost. I would start a paypal dispute if he doesnt but do keep communicating with him

  • Hi there
If you are still in communications with the seller, keep the e-mails polite and just state the facts. Don't even mention feedback as this can get nasty (I visit the forums on eBay and have read horror stories). As you mentioned, he's a powerseller so I guess his fb rating must be in their 1000's and a negative probably won't bother him. If yours is still low, a retaliatory negative from him will unfortunately look significant. You've paid for these items so don't let him try to fob you off :)

Thanks. I have not mentioned feedback to the seller - I have just stated that since they will not refund or replace I will have to mark the item unreceived. They do not seem too! bothered. It is really just my word against theirs that they were actually included in the parcel!
