EBICO - A Real Money Saver for low to medium users.

Options
My mum's a low energy user. 2716 kwh of gas a year and 1630 kwh of electricity.

She had been with UW's low user tariff which costs annually £91.56 for gas, £195.64 for electricity (including the standing charge) and £21.12 for membership. Total = £308.32 :mad:

We recently checked out the "Not for profit company" - EBICO
The cost of Gas annually will be £69.26 (2.55p per Kwh)
The cost of electricity annually will be £152.57 (9.36p per Kwh - E. Mids)
Total = £221.83 :rotfl:

Saving against UW = £86.49 per year. - Switch in progress! :D

Ebico's pricing structure does seem to make them very competitive for low to medium energy users, however high users may well save more with other companies on-line tariffs.

    We are fairly high users (leccy 7,000kw/yr, eek, Gas 18,000 kw/yr) and found that Ebico was STILL the cheapest option for gas but Scottish Power was cheaper for leccy. My father is a similarly low user to your mother and I've just changed him over to Ebico for gas and leccy as the savings were almost unbelievable compared to the legalised thieves he was previoulsy using.
    I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!
