I had payments taken on my payslip and they never took that into account. Maybe if you did a private one away from work it would do.
They dont even query union membership so if its a work one you should be ok0 -
If you start to make contributions into a pension scheme that didn't exist at the outset of your IVA, both your IP and your creditors would want to know how you can afford to do so when all surplus income should be going towards your IVA.
I don't know the solution but be careful not to jeopardise your IVA.

My wife has a pension and I have been told that I can start one, but it must be the minimum payment for the duration of the IVA. Hope this helps.0

I have recently started an IVA and am in my company pension fund. I was allowed to continue on the minimum, plus an additional amount as I'm 55 years old.0
