Credit ratings and addresses part 2

I suggested where to start:
You should as zx81 rightly says get copies of your credit file from all three credit reference agencies - go through them with a fine tooth comb - you might find you are financially linked to a relative who has recently got into credit trouble, or have incorrect data being reported by one or more of your creditors.
Certain CIFAS markers aren't recorded against individuals, but addresses. They DO NOT cause people to be declined for credit.
They may simple result in people being declined for credit because the data on their application cannot be verified by the lender or the applicant does not pass the lenders ID checks.
This is not the fault of the CIFAS marker, simply an indirect result of it.
We don't know if that's the cause yet though, so grab a copy of your credit file and we'll see what isCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Sorry Izools, my fraught state isn't helping me be rational about this. I'll try that, thanks. I am certain that the problem is linked to this individual's activities, but as you point out I will need to at least prove that before I ask to get it removed.0

Sure, but this is what I'm worried about - if the end result is the same.0 -
I have had a CIFAS warning on my file. I still got credit.0
