RELIEF! My PGCE application went yesterday after a struggle to sort out my reference because my tutor was a bit useless. Still they've given me a good one in the end (sent it to me to see) and I paid up, sent it off and now have to wait.
I hate the waiting game
anyone whos done this before know how long before you hear something? Maybe just about interviews etc

I have just started my PGCE, sent my app off in September 09 and was rejected by my first three choices by mid november, at the beginning of December I was offered an interview for the end of January, got offered a place within a week! I think it depends on the uni a lot, and whether you're doing primary or secondary! Hope this has helped a bit!0

Sorry to go a bit off-topic, I'm only in my first year of my degree but I was hoping to do a PGCE after in primary education, I was wondering if anyone had any experiences of this and what unis are good for it? Thanks and good luck with your application![STRIKE]Seventeen[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Eighteen[/STRIKE] Nineteen(!) year old student - dim at the best of times0

So moving on to UWIC now which would be a perfect place to be as I wouldnt have to move from where I am now so fingers crossed!0 -
Unlucky angel of mel. Good luck for your next place. Crossing my fingers for me for my interview. I'm petrified!!0
