Morrisons Christmas voucher promo - £30 off for Christmas & New year

  • This is not the case at all! In the Christmas brief it states that if a member of staff spends £40 and staff discount takes the value below £40 then it will still be accepted - As in previous years the sub-total amount on the receipt will be what is looked at not the total payable amount as vouchers, discount cards etc, can alter the final amount.

really? thats what we all got told in work on saturday, i'll have to take a look at my mum's wallet then and see.
  • This is a great Christmas promo. £25 to spend for Christmas food will be a life saver.
  • Sadly even though my Mum & I are regular Morrisons shoppers neither of us spend anywhere near £40 a week in there so we will miss out even if we add our shopping together (for example this week I spent £8 & she spent £19).

Really feel as if this is a kick in the teeth to people like us, shops these days only care about families.

Wasn't it £40 off your shopping last year not £30!

It was £20 two years ago, £25 last year and upped by another fiver this year! The promotion is getting better year by year:money:

  • Does this mean if my shopping comes to 45 but use 20 of vouchers (sorry no pound sign on this comp!) that I can still use that receipt? I can't find on the terms and conditions where it says about this

Yes you can aslong as the sub-total is £40 or more then the receipt will be accepted.

  • Can you use the discount along side saver stamps? I suppose you would be able to?

    Yes you can:D

I'm single but spend at least £40 a week - Can't you pick up a few Christmas presents each week to make your spend reach £40?

Good idea but as I'm a savvy MSEer I've already done most of my present shopping and the other bits I need to get they don't sell in Morrisons.

Can the £40 total spend include saver stamps? If it does, would it be worth buying a few of these to bump up your total, then use them after Christmas for your weekly shopping?

No it excludes saver stamp purchases.
