Thank you squirrel. I thought I replied earlier while at work but something must have gone wrong there.
Definitely think keeping a diary will be good on here will keep account of spending from today as start of new month seems appropriate.
Set up a spreadsheet yesterday from someone else on here - sorry can't remember who that was.
Spending out of the window when friend at work checked my tyre that he said definitely needs replacing not soon but now!
So £108.98 gone in one go, but new tyre sorted and tracking wasn't able to shop around as tyre in too urgent need but now I know how to check when there ready, checked DHs who also needed them done 'soon' and just as bad as mine on bigger car and two tyres so no OPs for us in November I think. Have budgeted for car maintenance so when that's built up may put that towards OPs instead.
Cheap dinner of beans on toast for tea as in late after fun with tyre. Rice pudding that I made yesterday for pudding soon.
Enjoy the rest of the evening peopleMortgage = £270,000

Good luck with your journey. I'm new to MFW after being a DFW for too long so will follow your progress.
I follow Fly lady as well. It works for me as I'm quite lazy when it comes to house work.0 -

Hello AnnaBeth
I have just been reading your diary, good luck with the overpayments. I wish I had started overpaying at your age back in 1999 when I got my first mortgage, it was only £28.5k!!!
As a new Mum myself I got lots and lots of outfits for baby for which I was very appreciative as we have not had to buy him much and he is now 6 months old. What I would have found really useful is sleepsuits and vests for an older age so 3-6 months or 6-9 months as they wear these every day . If there is a Sainsbury near you they have 25% off clothing at the moment and a pack of 3 patterned sleepsuits is £6.50, so £4.87 with the discount. 0-6 month toys can be picked up quite cheaply too such as stacking rings or rattles/teethers.
Hope that helps
XSSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -
you cn never have enough sleepsuits, bibs or vests
Seriously.
