2 for 1 deal at pizza hut - kids meal query!

Hi, hope someone can shed some light on the 2 for 1 offer at Pizza Hut.

I was under the impression that for each main meal you buy, you get a 2nd free. The voucher states:


Voucher entitles you/your table to one free full price pizza, pasta or main meal salad for each one you purchase (lowest priced items are free), excluding drinks, buffet, 2 course set menus, takeaway deals, online orders, Happy Hour, Lunch Menu, Week Night Treat, Kids birthday parties, and all other vouchers, promotions and discounts.

Well, over the last 8 months I have used these 2 for 1 vouchers (when I see them on MSE), normally have 2 adult meals & 4 kids and pay for 1 adults & 2 kids meals. Have also used it for daughter's birthday treat for 10 kids in May (NOT A PARTY AS VOUCHER STATES) and again received the 2 for 1. Used in August at another branch no probs.

Today, as we ordered I said we have the 2 for 1 voucher .......... the server said you can't use the voucher on kids meals...she was adamant...as was the manager!

We decided to say & eat and would look into it later...have I just been lucky in the past to receive the kids on 2 4 1?!!!

When we came to pay, a different server said kids eat free for each paying adult so keep your voucher for another day and they took off 2 kids meals...better than nothing...but not what I was expecting.

Can anyone shed any light on this pls? Have you used these vouchers and had the discount on kids meals?

thats always been the case when we go...but i did find out last time that if you order a big pizza you get two free kids, so 2 adults sharing a big pizza and two kids meals came up around a tenner....we didnt bother with drinks as kids meals included top up pepsi...thats gotta be better then takeaway lol
