Hi all
i've got this tv
http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/television/orion-tv-37rn1/details/
with a goodmans dvd player that has 1 hdmi plug.
i've read somewhere that connecting via HDMI cable gives a better dvd pic than what i'm currently using (scart cable). is that true?

You won't get an HD picture but the HDMI connection will improve on what you curently get via Scart, don't pay more than a £5 for a cable though. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

yes, do it and you'll then get an HD picture due to your DVD player 'upscaling' the DVD to an HD resolution (won't be as good as blu-ray 'native/non-upscaled HD' but will be more than half way there.
