Transfer Sainsburys Online Saver -> Easy Saver - Anybody been through the process?

Hi,
Ive have some money in a Sansburys Online Saver which I opened early November 2009. I realise this is quite soon going to transfer into another account paying virtually no interest. Ive been looking at their Easy Saver and it seems to fit the bill (2.6% - 5 withdrawals) and also because I presume it will be easier to open and transfer the balance to as its with the same bank (?)
so I was wondering if anyone had been down this path already and how straightforward it is
Do they notify you when the original Sansburys Online Saver is due to reduce its interest rate?
Do they give you options? (The ability to transfer the balance to an new Easy Saver and close the account would be nice)
Alternatively - Do they keep quiet and hope you will forget to transfer it so your money earns little interest?
Do they make it difficult for you to transfer you old online saver to the nice shiny easy saver?
Any help will be appreciated.
