On Ib-a few questions about the change to esa?

Hello,

I am on incapacity benefit for some years now due to mental health problems and social phobia and I am registered partially sighted as well as other physical health problems.

If the ib comes up for renewal in a year or so and I am put into the work related group in the new esa does that mean in a year or so later it will be too late for me to appeal to get into the support group?

If so does this mean that if I feel I am unfit for work under esa, I have to appeal straight away to be considered for the support group?

My social phobia is such that I get panic attacks when in company and extremely nervous doing things with my hands, like eating or having to do something that requires concentration. I start to sweat and tremble and feel humiliated for weeks after. I have got lots of treatment but the problems still remain.

I am not sure if that or my other health problems are enough to get me into the support group.

Thank you for any help.

Justin
