I currently own an ipod nano linked to my itunes. I want to buy a new Ipod classic. Does anyone know if it`s possible to "unlink" my old ipod and "link up" to my new ipod with my old itunes without having to put all my cds onto it again? And how do i do it?
Also, is it possible to give my old ipod to someone and they can link their own new itunes to it?

yes.just sync the ipod and itunes will offer to sync it
you can have multiple ipods on one itunes
the person with your 'old' ipod would be prompted to erase the ipod and put their own music on it on 1st sync0
