Help reinstating an XP user account!

I recently created a user account for myself on my dads XP system, when doing so it automatically set me as administrator and the original administrator account has been lost. Although i can access the original documents via documents and settings.

Is there a way in which i can either create a new account and reinstate all of the original data to it or go back to the way in which I originally had the account without losing work which has been done since the account change?

Thanks

yes if doing a system restore you may loose information. Thats why its important to back up data such as word documents pictures and even save some software to disk too. You could do a backup to dvd or cd and then do a system restore to re gain the old administrators account.
