Housing benefits and help for a working mother

Hi,
I recently had a relationship meltdown and I'm wondering what to do about moving. I'm a home owner shared with my ex partner who hasn't payed the morgage and could be repossesed.
Looking for my own place with my 2 daughters, 15 and 18 years of age and I work 30 hours a week in the public sector. I'm wondering what help I can get from the goverment since everything has changed.
Anyone can help me please?

Do you have a joint mortgage and is the property going to be sold? Is there any equity in it?
  • Yes it is a joint morgage, with no equity anymore because he funded his business with the money, and then had to go bankcrupt; the business failed.
