Looks like I'll have to buy the non slip stuff then. As said, its quite pricey

Rugs can be a trip hazard, but i am not elderly, i have 2 messy kids, 2 cats, and rugs will prolong the life of my new carpet!:) Plus i like how they break up a large expanse of carpet. I

Before now, where I had rugs on carpeted floors over wooden floors I have put a screw through the rug in each corner, through the carpet and into the floor below, no lasting damage to either the rug or the carpet, maybe a bit extreme, but it worked.0

I tried that too and the rug just ripped around the screw.0
