Ok basically my internet went odd this afternoon and completely went, no matter how many times i restarted my machine or the box. I tried my parnters Mac and now Ive somehow screwed it up.
My computer finally connected again but now the Mac will not, it says the network password is either incorrect or says something like connection time out when I enter the password to connect.
Please help, hes not going to be happy when he gets home from work

Heh-heh...
OK...
Click on Apple logo and then System Preferences
Click on Network.
Make sure Airport is highlighted on the left and then click Advanced.
On the next window you'll see a list of preferred networks. Select your network and then click the - button to remove it then click OK.
When you click on the wifi icon again, it'll show the network name in the list. Click on it to connect and pop in the network password.0 -
Funny Im all of a sudden having this problem also now. However doing the above my network doesn't show yet I know its working as My iPad, iPhone and PC Laptop all in the same room connect easily. Any further ideas?
Updated - I am now getting my network to show but am always getting the message Connection timeout

I thought Macs 'just worked'? ; )
Anyway, it sounds like you just need your router password. It's probably printed somewhere on the router itself.0 -
Maybe one of your neighbours has set up a network on the same channel as yours - try changing the channel on your router.0
