Dial Direct Car insurance

Have just started to look around for car insurance for renewal at the end of the month. Am with Privilege at the moment but they have quoted me £266 this year as we had a claim ( which wasnt our fault, we wer'nt even in the car) but we wont go into that ( the sorry saga is on the forum back last year) so they obviously want to get rid of us. Nearly every quote that I have got is lower than theirs. Have got one from DIAL DIRECT for £180.00. Does any one know anything about this company. Its says the policy will be through AXA.

They are a broker so really you have little dealing with them as you can deal directly with the insurer if you desire. One problem with brokers is that they can charge you additional fees for making alterations/ canceling policies etc on top of the fees the insurance company charges so it may be worth checking this out first.

Thanks for that. Looking at the details of the 'quick quote' that I printed out, there is an arrangement fee of £20 (non refundable). Think I need to have a look at the full details. Could try AXA direct, you never know.

Axa no longer do direct insurance so you can only buy through a broker
