Dunelm Mill query

This is not quite a vent, praise or warning yet, but I would appreciate people's thoughts...
I need some vertical blinds for a bedroom (preferably black out ones), so ordered a couple of free swatches/samples from Dunelm Mill to see what quality the material is.
Ordered 18th October, and STILL waiting... Am I being really impatient, or does it honestly take that long to send a couple of samples out??
It said 5 days postage on the web site, but my online order still says they're being picked out, so not even sent yet.
The blind needs to be really wide (240cm), so can't buy off the shelf, hence I need something made to order, and these would be a reasonable price of about £80.
My worry is that if they take that long just to send a sample, it really puts me off actually ordering blinds from them.
Anyone had any good or bad experiences with Dunelm Mill, or can recommend a good alternative for me?

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

If your not happy with Dunelm try Blinds-Supermarket
I've used them for years and they are part of Hillarys, so the quality is as good as it gets. Quidco tracks at 10% and there is usually a 10% discount code floating around on google.
The turnaround is good, usually a few days for samples and no more than a week for full blinds.
I'm not knocking Dunelm, I tend to only use them for in store shopping though. My farts hospitalize small children

Thanks for the replies.
To be honest, I can't be bothered to phone them to chase up some free samples. It's the sort of thing I'd consider a company to be capable of sending without any prompting, and my online account tells me they're still fetching them from stock! I just see it as a bad omen, and given we have MANY blinds in the house that will get replaced eventually, I think I'd rather give my business to a company I have a little more confidence in.
Will have a look at the Blinds Supermarket webpage - cheers!
Have also found a local company who seem to offer reasonable prices, so might try them too.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

Thank you for the link - they have some lovely blinds and fantastic prices. :T0 -
Update: After 2 weeks, my order for free samples was still showing as "being picked", so I sent them an email asking when I'd get the samples, as I'd like to order the blinds and will have to order elsewhere otherwise if they don't arrive soon.
They did reply within 48 hours as promised, but it just said:
"The sample service for blinds was withdrawn some time ago but it has not been removed from the website.
Apologies for the inconvenience"
A very blah reply, no suggestion of what the blind material is like, or whether it would be suitable, or any alternative suggestions, so I'll order from a company that actually seems bothered about its customers.
Thumbs down to Dunelm Mill online service!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
