Sorry i dont mean to be rude but its DLA - Disability Living Allowance.
The DVLA is the licensing authority for motor vehicles and driving licences.
In response to your post i get high rate care for my son who has systemic juvenile arthritis. Mobility cant be applied for until the child is 3.
Ask health visitor for advice mine was really good. I filled the forms myself but its really hard work and it has to be worded correctly. CAB will be able to help. If your child has had these problems for 3 months and will last for more than 6 months then you would be eligible.
Hope you can get it sorted.0 -

My son was born with the same problem and had surgery. The surgery corrected the problem, when your child has the surgery next year will the needs continue. My son only has regular ECG scans now but has no needs more than a child of his age.
He was also fed by tube initially when in great ormond street and then weaned off when off ventilator at a few months old.
We never had a need to apply for any benefits as after the first 6mths we knew he was going to survive. Also he was in hospital so if the child is in hospital for longer than 28days it would affect the benefit!
At the age the child is all children have needs throughout the day and night. You can only claim the care section as the child is under 3.0 -
