I think it's terrible how judgemental people can be. What is the difference between one person making 40 orders and cheating the company out of say £200, and somebody making one single order that cheats a company out of £200??

Using the code once is just as bad as using it 40 or 80 times. Essentially the behaviour is the same, you have cheated the company out of money.

I will add (before i'm accused of defending an abuse of the code myself) that I used the code a modest 3 times. And i will hold my hands up in saying that I too am in the wrong, but everyone on here is here for the same reason - to grab a bargain. There are loop holes that people exploit and why shouldnt they - even our Government demonstrate that this is ok to do!!!

The code was issued to use one per person they did the same last year, so that is the difference right there. Unless you live in a boarding school chances are there are not 80 unique people at the same address. Those who ordered for husbands/wifes etc I can understand but not those who made up accounts for 'imaginary' people for personal gain. ASOS will only have to raise their prices in future to cover the loss, of what I imagine to be hundreds of thousands. I hope this doesn't lose someone their job or mean ASOS closes down.

Did ASOS raise the prices this year to cover last years costs??

Lol, I wouldn't know if they raised prices, I've bought from them twice - last years glitch and this years.

I didn't use the sorry code I used the other one which was issued.. the sorry one is for customers who had issues with their orders/service etc. Ooer that is a bit nawty lol

And the first one was for customers who had orders delayed so unless it was sent directly to you for a delayed order you shouldn't have used the first one either.;)

Its up to Asos who's orders they send out, they have had plenty of opportunity to cancel orders if they wished to.

I hope that something that will have benefitted people close to Christmas isn't going to turn into a slanging match over who ordered how many.

i only did one order....but I kicked a nun. so swings and roundabouts for my conscience.

Ooo the penny drops, I assumed like last year it was the same promotion which was £10.00 off 1 per customer.. guess I'm guilty too! lol. It's not likely my order will be despatched as my item is oos though.
