Woohhooooo, just got back from tesco's and bagged my self a brand new lovelly, Philips 26" LCD I cant believe it though, i looked atthe TV's like usual and saw 2 different SEL's, 1 said £599.97 and the other said £549.97. I had a look atthe barcode and the higher priced one ended in 05 and the lower ended 04. I knew straight away was going to be my lucky day. Took it to the counter to get it and i was shaking when i bought it. Looked all puzzled when i got my receipt and said you must have charged me the wrong amount it only says it is £549 over there. So we went over and had a look and he agread with me. He had to phone the manager straight away and he offered me the difference, to which i pointed out the sign. He then had to phone HO about it and they said to authorise it. My eyes lit up lik an xmas tree. so there u go, one free TV

I picked up 3 leather business card cases from the Christmas 3 for 2 range - I actually wanted metal cases but there were none there, and the SEL said £2.97 each, so I thought they'd be good enough at £2 each (gifts to put in fill-your-own christmas crackers from january sales). I obviously didn't have my R&R head on, because when they popped up on the till as £4.97 each I said - Oh, they're not that price on the shelf (and promptly slapped my hand over my big mouth) but managed to persuade the girl that I'd made a mistake. I told the lovely CS girl that I thought I'd been overcharged and she had a quick check at the shelf (£4.97 was printed on the box, £2.97 on the SEL) and did an R&R without question. However, she also removed the SEL while I was there, so don't try this in Swansea's Fforestfach Tesco.

ok folks get your skates on,just been to rugby tesco's and they had two shelves full of venturer lcd/tv combis three sels all with £148.00 scanned at £179.99 full r and r without asking,sels removed immediately,good luck if you find one

priced at 49.97 and charged 69.97 was offered the difference but then asked about the policy and the obliged

Sage & Onion stuffed fresh chicken. SEL £1.99/kg, pack £2.19/kg. Full R&R in the end, CS lady did not understand how I thought I had been overcharged, but got there in the end with the help of her colleague!!!
No big yellow SEL, just a regular white SEL.

Hi all, after reading the ins and outs of r+rs last night, i thought i'd have a go.........i have just got back from Scunthorpe Tescos with a new mobile phone for free.......it was the sony ericsson k750i marked with a sel sticker of £116 but went through as £129.99.......a full refund and i kept the phone.........brilliant...

Can i just ask though, on the sel sticker the date of offer was 29/10 so it was out of date.........SA said she should'nt refund because of this but she did out of her kindness...........should us customers be expected to read the date on the yellow Sel stickers! or is it there error for still having out of date stickers on display.......thanks
