FRIDAY 27 OCTOBER 2006, 14.00HRS

Tesco have a budget range of stuff all priced at £1. One of the items is a four-disc box of recordable DVD-R discs.

As the range is run down, the stuff that's left - including these DVDs - is now BOGOF. I bought two boxes through a regular till yesterday to test them - and they're fine.

Today I went back to get another eight boxes, which at BOGOF should have been £4. I used the 'swipe it yourself' till and they all went through at £1 each - ie the normal price. As Tesco's till system never shows up any offer savings until it's time to pay (Sainsbury's flag them up as they're swiped so you can see the savings), I didn't think about it. When I swiped my card and paid, they were all listed on the receipt at full price.

A short trip to Customer Services (and a nice Eastern European lady who wasn't interested in arguing in a non-native tongue), and I had a full refund on my card. Eight boxes of discs for free.

I have just been back after lunch (having given them two hours to correct the fault) and cleaned them out of all stock, with my Eastern European friend now wetting herself as she credited my card with another £48 as I legitimately walked out with three carrier bags full of nearly 200 DVDs.

Assuming all Tescos are using the same pricing database, get in there, Money Savers!!!

Crawfords Family Circle biscuits 1KG red tin - several yellow SELS Buy 2 for £6. Offer expired 24/10 so charges £3.98 each. PI lady said OMG, we aren't doing our job are we ! Full refund with an apology from really nice staff.

can I just remind everybody again that this thread is only for posting new misprices that you see. It's not to post that you did or didn't get a particular misprice or about any trouble you might have had with CS. Any discussion of any sort or questions should go on this thread here

Tyco RC Pimp My Ride remote control car, reduced from £14.XX to £3.xx actually goes through the tills at £2.49.

No R n R but a really cheap toy for birthdays etc.

i did 2 of these this evening, CS tried to give me back 5p but i asked her if its tesco policy to refund the product, she said she doenst know n need to find out. spoke to her manager and approved it. i swear she knew

Having read all these threads, started r&ring yesterday & in 2 days have r&r'ed £180 + bought cranium game £6.47 - a big thanks to all!!! Think this could become addictive!

Couldn't believe the Sels on the meat isle - nearly everything was wrongly priced, we left chicken drumsticks, chicken legs & pork chops behind (all Sels wrong)
