minted lamb kebabs 2 for £5 pack priced 2.74 sel 2.68 self scanned at 2.74 when i paid scanned at 2.68. so be careful as self scanners are sometimes wrong

I've been away working this week - managed to hit a few Tescos....

It would seem that a lot of stores have got old stock of CDs, DVDs and Games all with big yellow stickers on.

Now most of these seem to scan wrong - either lower or higher than the sticker.

For example,

PC Game Splinter Cell £8.34 - scans at £9.xx
CDs including Bon Jovi, Pretenders and Brucey - all with stickers of £4/5.97 - all scan higher.
DVD Alien Autopsy stickered at £7.97 and scans at £8.97.

You will probably find the stock mixed up - so do dig around.

Also this seems to vary from store to store - some have nowt, some have tonnes and others a handful of items.

I was getting an R&R on Tuesday morning - I think - I've been asleep since then...

...Tesco employee comes up to the CS desk clutching the above and said 'discount ain't comin off this'.

This is currently on the shelf for the best part of £15 - this week if you spend £30 you get it for £9.74.

So I think this is what the Tesco Dude was refering to.

Health warning - I haven't tried this myself so it might not work or may have been corrected.

Might be worth a punt for anyone that really fances this film anyway?

At CS desk today behind a lady who was getting r&r on the lamb chops and Chicken wrapped in bacon with cheese. These are the ones in the foil tray and are on offer for 2 for £5 so they are £2.99 I think. She only bought one though so the price must be wrong only if you buy one. Sorry not to have more detailed info.

I also saw a lady at the next till pointing out to the cashier that the girls pj's she was buying had a sticker for £3 on them. The cashier called someone over and they manually adjusted the price at the till. These were in the square packet and were lilac and pink. Were £6 reduced to £3. Might be worth a try seeing as there is 20% off kids clothing anyway.
She def wasn't pointing this out though!
