It doesn't matter what wines, I got a mixture. The offer was 25% off ALL wines and champagnes, all that came off today was 5%. I joked with the manager that I should've got 6 bottles of Moet instead of Cava!

Went to THREE Tesco's today :rotfl:

BOGOF on Elizabeth Shaw mints all but dried up now. But managed to get two boxes and was charged full price with bogof sticker still in place.

This was an odd one though, Victoria biscuits , xmasy, £3.96. SEL said BOGOF and went through as this.
Returned them 4 hours later to another Tesco and the BOGOF offer had come off but the label had been changed to expire in Jan 07. So might be worth trying these.


AVOID Bombay gin which expired yesterday as they've new label on it now extending offer to Jan (had to "change mind at checkout :rotfl: )

But my piece de resistance today was 6 of the smallest organic chicken thighs ever
SEL £9.99 per kg, stickered at £12.99


So bought 4 :rotfl: :rotfl: then got £26 refunded. CS lady very apologetic when I showed her the one pack and after checked said R&R no probs, face fell somewhat when I produced the other three.

£40.00 R&R no problems, plenty more left behind and not 1 SEL removed.

Picked up X-Factor Karaoke Machine (LL22) and Barbie 12 Dancing Princesses Horse and Carriage. SEL for Karaoke £31.?? but charged £39.?? SEL for horse and carriage £28.?? but charged £30.?? Got full r+r on horse and carriage but CS claimed that the karaoke was a different one from advertised on SEL (LL21)!!! Funny how only a few hours later the SEL has been removed but none has appeared for the LL22. Watch out for Happy Feet Tap Dancing Mumble SEL dated 28/11/06 £24.97 but on another stand 26/12/06 still £24.97. Checked the price and it still is £24.97
