I'm in shock! I spotted that my local tesco still had the yellow offer label on the Gaymers cider this morning so I went for it!

3 x 18 cans of Gaymers old english scanned at 9.98 each, but the multibuy reduction (Beer 2 for £16) only came to £3.96, so I calmly went to CS and innocently asked whether I had been overcharged.

The CS lady was confused and wandered off to check the price, 10 minutes later she returned saying I was going to have a good Christmas! I acted surprised of course

The upshot:

Originally scanned at £29.94
Multibuy .................- 3.96
Paid .......................£25.98

Refund ...................£29.94

They PAID ME £3.96 to take the cider off their hands :beer: :j :j

Worth seeing if your local tesco has forgotten to remove the yellow label!

Jus-rol Party Size 60 Pastry cases ... these are frozen uncooked

SEL £2.75 ..... went through the till at £2.99

£2.75 is the normal price for these so guess they have just increased the price

The ones that are slightly larger with 40 in a box have a SEL of £2.75 also so not sure if this price is wrong also.

£2.99 refunded and I got to keep the product

Diet Coke 24x330ml cans labelled £6.95. Shelf label saying £6.75

Outdoor bred Pork belly joint with sage and onion stuffing. Pack price £3.49/kg. SEL £3.2x/kg. Some packs had a special offer label advertising the lower price. Others didn't.

full R&R no problems. CS very apologetic about the wait whilst they checked and the overcharge.

XBox core system picked up at Springburn, full rnr of 194.97 no problem. Many thanks to the original poster.

Did notice though that although she removed the SEL on the shelf, there was one of the large octoganal displays still showing the core at this price too, this is still there if anyone else wants to try their hand.

Woo Hoo my R&R virginity finally broken. Picked up some Bernard Matthews premium chicken breast slices 200g. One SEL shows £2.38 and the other shows a bogof offer but with a pack price of £2.18. Scanned at £2.38 though with the bogof. Duly refunded for all 4 packs :-).

I know it's not a biggie but from small acorns and all that.............

Futurama seasons 1 & 3, stickered £19.84, SEL £22.97, charged £22.97.

CS tried to just give me the difference, until I queried it, and said that I thought that I would get a full refund.

XBOXs were priced correctly.

dont normally shop at tescos but just been to buy a laptop
whilst i was there i noticed the christmas gifts were on 3 for 2 and the bath massage mat was priced at 49.96 but scanned at 24.96 and the foot spa was priced 19.94 and scanned 9.94 not an r&r i dont think but i hope it can help someone not sure if this is just my local store or nationwide
