JSA And Maximius Job Agancy

Hello all,


I need some advice, im currently on JSA flexible new deal for over 25's, I attend maximus job agency for my job searches one a week or once a fortnight, it changes.

I was currently going once a week, but my last appointment on the print out was only a few days after the last appointment and I only just realized on Saturday that it clashed with my probation appointment which is every Monday. They do know this and normally I attend on the wednesday or late on Monday, so they must have forgot.

Anyway I am worried because I did notify them on Monday and she couldnt get me another appointment yet as they are fully booked.

Now all would be well BUT the job centre have now changed there rules in relation to maximus, when you go to sign on they need to see your recent appointment letter, and because I didnt turn up on the Monday(to maximus) I now havent got one and they will not sign me.

Last time I signed on I forgot the appointment letter and had to go home to get it, now I know they will do the same thing again.

I dought I will recive a another appointment by the end this week for next week, im due to sign this Monday coming.

I have my probation letter and details for them to see at the jobecentre but will I be ok?. I have a genuine reason why I didnt attend maximus(if I dont attend probation I will go to prison!).

I cannot visit maximus without an appointment they will not let you in and any phone calls to them I have to leave a message to my advisor.

Im really worried.:(
