buyer has only one previous transaction

I listed an item, and thought by setting the buyer requirements I would avoid problems. My winner has only one previous transaction and has won an item that was clearly marked COLLECTION ONLY in the listing. As they live a distance away I think it unlikely they will be able to collect.Should my requirements have blocked them,ps its only a low value item, and I could post.

No, you can't block buyers completely - only those with negative scores or previous difficulties such as non-payment strikes. There's nothing that can block someone from bidding on distant Collection Only items.
We all have to start somewhere. Perhaps your buyer will be able to come and collect or wants your particular item and is prepared to make the trek."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Re-invoice them through Paypal via Request Money if you're prepared to post.duckeggblue wrote: »buyer has now said they thought it was to be posted. How do I add the postage charge to them."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

How long ago did the item end?
I would send them a friendly message to thank them for their purchase and to contact you to arrange collection. If you can post this I would work out the costs and advise the buyer that it can be sent at additional cost (you will need to send an invoice including postage costs).
If they are a new buyer they may not have read or understood the listing, or they may have someone close to you who can collect for them.
If you don't have any contact after 4 days of auction end you can open an unpaid item dispute to get your fvf fees back (remember to close 4 days after opening if no resolution).
Buyer requirements won't block anyone with low feedback - it mainly covers those with unpaid item strikes, policy breaches.
If you are concerned about this buyer, try searching on ebay advanced search or goofbay for items they have won and maybe feedback not left due to non payment.
You can also get your buyers contact details and give them a ring.

Hopefully they're a genuine buyer and you get this sorted.0 -
Sorry 1st reply a bit slow - it appears they want it posted!
In the sold section of your ebay you can select send payment details / invoice from drop down menu on the item details.
Add the postage cost in the postage section and DON'T press recalculate. you can press preview to make sure it is correct. Send the invoice to the buyer and they will be able to pay as normal through the invoice.0
