Letter advising price rises after prices have gone up...
You may have seen from a couple of other threads that I really rate npower at the moment for their sheer brilliance in being able to mess everything up. Anyhow on a slightly different subject, on the 11th October I had my letter from npower telling me about price rises (of course the tarifs on the letter were wrong but I suppose at least they got my address right) that came into effect on the 1st October! How can gas and elec companies get away with this? This also used to happen to me with Scottish Power

The last time Npower were late in sending us a letter notifying us of price rises, they sent us some gift vouchers, cant remember where for or how much as it was a few years back now.

It is common practice for suppliers to allow you to remain on the old tariff for a reasonable period until you are able to switch if you phone them up in objection to the price rises.0
