I recently purchased 2 replacement foam cushions from https://www.efoam.co.uk I ordered the firm reflex foam as i assumed this would be suitable for my sofa.
Anyway, since they have arrived I tried one and the old cushions are actually firmer than the new "firm" foam. I spent nearly £50 on these and they are no good....What are my rights in getting a refund?
Many Thanks in advance
Emma

It all depends.
If the foam was cut to size then you won't be able to get a refund under the distance selling regulations (allows for a 7 day change of mind on distance sales) as custom or made to measure items aren't covered.
If it was an "off the shelf" purchase, then you should be entitled to return it and obtain a full refund0 -
Unfortunately they were cut to size.....does it not make a difference the fact that they are not as discribed and not fit for purpose?0

If it's not as described then you would be entitled to a refund, however this may be very hard to prove unless the seller made a claim as to the actual density of the foam and this turned out to be incorrect.
The snag is that one persons idea of firm may not be the same as someone elses.0 -
the fact that when i put them on the floor and sit on one and can feel the floor would imply they are not firm, they also put up absolutely no resistance when you touch them0
