  • Couldn't agree more, RootedNomad! The best advice, especially at this time of the year, is, that we don't have to nab every "bargain", and to (try to) stick to a budget!

No one's saying that price is a bad deal for Pete's sake. Some of us just admit we really don't need it and only want to get it if it's an awesome deal (which some might argue is still a crap deal if you don't need it, but there is the fun of having the goodies set back for later). Also, some people may actually be trying to stick to a set budget, and won't bust their budget for this.

I agree, if the set goes to £29 it will still be a good deal for many but it won't appeal to me as I have tons of the stuff already and am used to picking up bits of the range throughout the year at 75% off or even more on clearance:D So from that point of view £29 seems really expensive to me still. For someone who is new to the range or has no stash it would be a fantastic gift and even though I dont need or wan't it atm I'll be keeping an eye on the threads closer to the time to see if that all changes:rotfl:

  • That was a bit harsh. I dont think anyone was actually complaining at £29 just being more mse and saying the cheaper the better.

I loved the hatbox last year not so keen on the bag this year. It kinda looks like it has just all been chucked in iykwim.

I loved the hatbox last year and bought two of them, still have one hatbox unopened. Was thinking of selling it on Ebay and purchasing this years one just because I am a S&G Fan.

I've only tried the S&G body butter

What is the rest of the range like? Is it a smell for younger girls/teenagers?

    thanks
  • I have tried more of the blue range of products this year fom s&g and am dissappointed that there isn't much of the blue stuff made up into xmas gifts. I love the butter up body butter, I bought 10 tubes of it when it went cheap!!!

As rumoured it will be the Boss Orange set. It was going to be the fragrance ootw but they decided to make it the main ootw. Boss Orange Spa Set £29 down from £60

Not a lover of Boss Orange :(

Just waiting now for the S&G and the Ted Baker (male) if that comes on offer.

I read somewhere recently that someone had purchased four of the SS gift sets and Boots emailed to say they could not fulfill the order (but honoured the bonus points).

Has any one ordered more than one of an OOTW gift set and had all of there order delivered? I would really like two of the TB sets if they come on offer.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.
