I’ve had to take into account hubby switching from weekly pay to monthly pay so that’s why my target is end of April.  It gives me nearly four months to save up spending money.

today I’m aching all over from the gym and keep fit class I did yesterday

kinda chilled out day today but I did attempt to second coat the hole in my kitchen ceiling and also the wall around the window and kitchen door with ready made plaster will leave that a couple of days then I can sand then down and paint them

On the look out for a blind for the kitchen not sure what style I want tho …………

also got my eye on some kitchen accessories but these won’t be purchased til all the walls have been fixed and painted………also want some breakfast bar chairs as well xx

    Evening

its Friday woo hoo which means Friday tidy …….I need a life xx

I've managed to get £1150 put into the Florida funds so I’m on target.  I’ll have two college payments in February so they’ll go straight into that as well as next months council tax and child benefit.  None of hubby wages will go in til the end of February so I’m happy with how I am on target

ive chased up returns of £52 which has came off the small balance of my Halifax credit  card and another £33 of returns off my very account so everything is going down.

just rounding down my account every day and sending small payments towards the Halifax card so I can get that cleared.

it’s my brothers birthday on Monday and I’ve arranged for my grandads gold ring to be fixed as it’s his 30th so it’s very special.  Was meant to be collecting it today but it’s not back yet so need to pick it up tomorrow.  Also need to take xanders headset back we for him for Xmas as it’s broke hopefully they’ll be able to replace it.  If not it’ll be another refund and I’ll need to see if I can get him an alternate headset.

money will be tight next month but we will manage as I don’t tend to rely on his house keeping money.

right off to clean up ready for the weekend.

    Productive morning so far

managed to sit down and crunch numbers for saving for Florida and now a proud owner of a spreadsheet to keep me up to date.

also managed to get my car insurance renewed and saved £40 so my annual policy is £222 so I have that amount already in my savings so that’s that sorted for another year.  Love paying insurances in full feels good.

Aim to get my ironing pile out the way today as well will do that after I’ve dropped the wee ones off at nursery

now I plan to knuckle down on surveys to get extra pennies for Florida.  Even if it pays for a hotel room for staying over night on the way down it’s money I don’t need to find.

    Great result on Avon.

I agree, it's so satisfying paying insurance for the year.  I'd love to get to the stage where I could pay Council Tax and water for the year too.
