Lovely to hear from you again. Glad it's all going well. I agree about contractors who let you down, it's ridiculous!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

@Willowtree222 my hand is sore from all the painting. Went from two rooms being replastered to 4 rooms getting replastered so I’ve whitewashed three rooms and ceilings and painted them all. So my wee hand is suffering as it’s a lot to do in two weeks.
plus my knee is giving me bother too so I’m hoping it holds up at the gym tonight as I didn’t go last night.
and thanks to you I’m getting my mojo back with decluttering. Anything that hasn’t sold I’ve been putting it up for barter/swap so it’s still getting out my house and I’m getting something I want in return…….mostly cheesecake ingredients but it still means I don’t need to buy anythingNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.054 -
Ah that makes sense. Rest will hopefully help to get it back.
I never thought it would be me giving you mojo back? You’re always so motivated! I’m usually reading your diary to get my butt in gear xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

My butt needed kicking as I was flagging a wee bit.
I’ve started tackling the very account where I put the eldest school uniform on there and a few birthday presents. Sent £20 over to it £85.16 to go before it’s cleared again then I need to start saving to clear my car off by the end of the year.
kids go back to school here next Thursday…….I’ve to pick up kks bag which is paid for and the eldest boy is needing to pick a school bag so plan on Wednesday when I have it off is to get their bags, pens and pencils, and a lunch box and they are all good to go.
11 days and both my boys turn 15 and 8, where has the time gone??? But I’m organised to a point as all their gifts are bought, and I just need to get the birthday cards, wrapping paper and 2 cakes and book a table at the Chinese restaurant they want to go to.
today I’ve scrubbed the hallway floor whilst my early morning start mindee fell back asleep. Need to give it another going over with a mop and I’ll hunt out my floor mat…….it’s somewhere in the house 😂
Absolutely gutted this weekend as I had to return my super duper sparkly lights to next as one blew its LEDs and they are non replaceable and the other one starting flickering so returned them both was offered a switch but because both of them developed faults I wouldn’t trust them…….not meant to be but I found new ones, not as sparkly but half the price and still very pretty. So I have £240 winging its way back to my credit card.
plumber reinstalled the radiators need to wait for the couch being delivered to see if I can get radiator covers for the living room. Couch should be here on Wednesday…….we shall see I’m not holding my breath.
hope everyone is well xx
