Right have went through my figures and I have calculated that I should be able to get my debt to £5999 if I am very careful with money this month.
Currently my debt is sitting at £6386.25 so this month I have managed to pay off £436.23 and it's only the 14th :T
On the 18th the college are due to pay me £180 so I will round this up and pay another £200 towards this credit cardthen when hubby gets paid before the 25th ill chuck another £100 which means I will have the barcalycard under the £900 mark :j:T:j:T
My couch payment comes out as usual on the £16th so that's another £54.40
This means I need to find another £31.85 and this will bring my debt under the £6k mark ready for its bottom to be kicked in 2016 :T
The hubby on payday usually transfers money into my account which is great as I'm responsible for the bills but recently he says he wants to transfers more money into my bank so I can put more money into the mortgage fund :T so hopefully we will hit the £10k mark by the end of next year :T
Fingers crossed but no doubt something will turn up that needs to be paid lol :rotfl:NEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Afternoon :hello:
Well started work at 7am and finished at 1pm will be working again from 3pm til 5.30pm
Went to toddlers on the bus £3.70 return (what a rip off) nipped into farmfoods and spent £10 on cold meat, diluting juice, juice for Abbie to take to school, 2 bottles of milk and oxo cubes :T
Paid my wages into the bank and nipped into wh smith and got my trashy mags £2.25 then popped into savers for calpol and Xmas wrapping paper £4.07 then we popped into homebargains for shower gel, sweetie for kk, sugar, baby wipes and carrots spent £6 so not too bad and my buggy was absolutely heaving :rotfl: defo need to replace the shopping basket next year :rotfl:
Now home chilling in fact I need to go get dinner in the slow cooker
Abbie is getting her last tooth out tonight but she's insisting that she's going to choir practice after it even though she'll be in agony but the way I look at it she's to shriniking away from her responsibilities as she's going to Italy in June next year to sing with the school choir ............I'm so proud of the young lady she is becoming xx
Right off to make my dinner xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Hey abba, just had an epic catch up. Your figures are looking great and you've paid off loads this year, well done! You'll be in a great position once you start going for a mortgage. For what it's worth, I think the debt will count against you more than the size of the deposit, so if you have to choose one over the other, choose to clear the debt.
Did you decide what you are doing for your birthday yet?
Poor abbie and all her dentist visits, she's very good to still be wanting to sing!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Yeah that's why I've been more focuses on getting rid of the debt than increasing the mortgage fund............hubby asked us how we were getting on he seems to think that cause we technically don't have the finance on the car anymore that I can chuck £150 extra at the debt ...........eh I have two car taxes and two car insurances coming out of my account !!!!!! grrrrrrr men they don't have a clue told him to leave me to it that I'm handling it xx
Decided we are going to the local car bootie to get all our veg for our Xmas dinner then we are off to bowling and then off to a cafe my grandpa used to take me and a little wander around the shops xx
I personally think she's crazy but she's got a solo but she is singing white Christmas using sign languageshe's such a clever cookie xx
