Hamish this is a failed thread you might of well quoted the discredited Daily Express, at least they will have more economic experience.
and as for the discredit Daily Express - it seemed that you were very happy to quote it a source for one of your spam threads just a week ago

Hamish, this whole thread: Epic Fail.0 -
Another piece of hard evidence.
No way are house prices ever going down.
I agree with Hamish. The HPC team have made themselves look even more stupid than before with their comments.
That's 2 days on the trot now. Yesterdays Express article was awful for them. Some of them totally lost the plot and their jealousy and bitterness was clear for all to see.
I actually feel the job has been done now. People have seen that website and it's members for what they are. Just a bunch or losers who are bitter and twisted over hardworking peoples success.
Maybe now is the time to deliver the final nail in their coffin and completley ignore them. After all, they are just not important.
Their views count for nothing as they don't have the money to buy a house in the first place. Who wants to argue with somebody not even in the game?
Not me. Waste of time.
You might as well speak about house prices to a tramp living on a park bench. :rotfl:0 -

You`ve not been taking your medication, have you ? Remember what the doctor told you.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -
A student blog? Hamish is getting more desperate by the day.
Seems the person who wrote the blog just wanted some attention. Bless0 -
A student blog? Hamish is getting more desperate by the day.
Interesting.
It made HPC's front page news blog, and got it's own thread full of crashtastic outrage, and attracted a couple of hundred comments from hpc-ers......
But I'm the desperate one?

Priceless.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

I'm sure a conservative student with a blog has exactly the same opinion on housing policy and house prices as the coalition does. :rotfl:Set your goals high, and don't stop till you get there.

Why do you read HPC?0 -
Now as the failed keynesianism economics model is now taught as the favoured school what is the chance he even studied this with such few modules he is studying. Let alone the re-insurgence of the Stronger Austrian Economics which rips his argument to shreds.
I wonder why you bring this up......
Seriously - spamming an internet forum isn't going to get you a cheaper house - especially not in West London.0 -

Yes the boomers worked really hard to make there houses worth 4/5 times what they paid for them... oh wait they didn't all they had to do was live there, not that much hard work then.
Yes I may have some bitterness myself, but this is due to the fact that me and my other half will have to work twice as hard to get half as much as the generations before us.
The end of the day if prices go backwards unless the greedy boomers have cashed in the equity then what do they have to worry about, eg my parents bought there home for £30k, its now worth £125k, would they lose anything if prices dropped back to £30k... no, would there children and grandchildren have a chance of even owning a home... yes.
By all means I don't expect them to drop that much, but you have to consider that dropping prices may hit some investors/parasites and some people will slip into negative equity for a while, but a whole generation and many generations after them will benefit.
So is it about personal greed or looking to the future?Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
