i applied for a job for a weekend person for greggs bakery.Filled in the bits online got a phonecall today saying i got a interview this sunday. Sadly i cant attend it because of family wedding told the lady why i couldnt. They CANCELED my interview and said they cant re arrange it. unless no suitable goes sunday then they will re arrange a interview.

Why is it stupid? They have set aside Sunday to interview and you can't make it. Why should they make other plans for you?Gone ... or have I?0

In the public sector it is quite common to set aside a day to interview and if someone can't make it then tough. This is often because getting a panel of people together again can be tough.MSE aim: more thanks than posts :j0

im not sayin just for me but im sure theres more then 1 person what cant do it at short notice like that and surely the manager has more then 1 day wear she or he can do them.
just seems silly to offer a interview on 1 day or nothing and especially on a sunday if u have a religion and go to church.
