Cheap London Parking??

Hi all,
Am visiting London on Saturday 11th December just for the day, from South Wales - just wondering if anybody knows of any cheap parking around convenient tube stations, preferably outside the congestion zone??
Thanks,
Claire :T

Best option would be Hillingdon underground Station, on the Met+Pic Lines. Large car park and just 1 minute off the A40/M40 :)

There's no congestion charge at the weekends
Vuja De - the feeling you'll be here later
  • FYI there's no congestion charge during the weekends. So, it'd probably be easiest to tell us the area you want to get close to and someone will give you an idea.
  • Thanks all - looking for the typical central areas - Oxford Street, Covent Garden etc!

why not just get the train from Swansea/Cardiff/Newport? You'll be in London nice & quickly, you can prob still get cheapish advance tickets & it'll be a whole lot less stressful than driving all that way & parking & getting tube in etc

Westminster council run car parks. My parents use the one on Cramer Street during the week, and during the middle of the day. There are spaces. The only problem is the one-way system to get to this particular car park.

Not sure how full these car parks are duing the weekend.

Bloody expensive too by the looks of things

    Up to: 1 Hour £5.00
    Up to: 2 Hours £9.00
    Up to: 4 Hours £17.00
    Up to: 6 Hours £24.00
    Up to: 9 Hours £29.00
    Up to: 24 Hours £35.00

Complete rip off. You'd have to be crazy to pay them prices!

I drove to London once and my stupid sat nav took me to a car park near mayfair. I could only afford to stay for 3 hours. I would definately get a train next time...:T
