Could you provide a little more details - phone model - what bluetooth device you are trying to connect to it with?
Thanks,

I think(?) that the bluetooth on an iphone is designed for connectivity (e.g. to a headset) rather than for file transfers.0

As Lucy says
The iphone restrics Bluetooth useage/compatability due to obvious piracy vioations
You can connect your iphone to a compatible bluetooth reciever in your home or car and play music that way but you cannot transfer music or pictures etc.
You probably could if you jail broke your iphone but thats your choice to makeIf Adam and Eve were created first
.Does that mean we are all inbred0
