Capital One Classic - No Mention of Cashback?

in Credit cards
Just received my Capital One Classic card with £500 limit as recommended by this site.
I see no mention of the 1% cashback promised when I signed up online either within the documentation received with the card or when I sign into my newly created online account for the credit card?
Any ideas?

It's not advertised on the website.
So I'd say it's been withdrawn on that card.
They are at liberty to change the benefits etc. at any time.0 -
It is advertised via the link which MSE advised to use - http://www.totallymoney.com/top_cashback.html but as I said no mention within documentation received for the card.0

Did you apply through the correct link, i.e. by clicking on the MSE link?
I applied for mine on Sunday (24 Oct). On both the general T&Cs (which everyone can read), and my own personalied T&C (which I saved as a PDF), it says:
Rebates. You will be enrolled in the Capital One rebate programme. You will receive a rebate of 1% on all purchases you makeprogramme. We will tell you about any change.
using your card. Each rebate will appear on your January statement and will be credited to your account unless we
notify you of another method. No rebate will be paid to you if at that time you are in default under the terms of this
agreement. However the amount of that year's rebate will accrue and may be payable in a following year. No rebate
will be payable if this agreement is terminated or your account is closed. No rebate will be made in respect of cash
withdrawals, balance transfers, or purchases which are refunded by the retailer. We may change the rules of this

Thanks - firsttimestudent .... you are correct checked my credit agreement and mine shows exactly as above.
Terminology I suppose - I was looking for the words "cashback" but they refer to it as a "rebate" ... cheers Pete0 -
