how do i lower my maximum bid

i've been a silly billy, i have bid on an item and should have put 99p but dozy me has typed in £99 as a maximum bid, is there any way i can reduce the maximum bid

You can retract your bid and then immediately rebid what you meant to pay.

I did that years ago - meant to put £11.50 and put £115 instead. Didn't have a clue what to do but fortunately I won the item anyway for £4.50!

Check the highest bid first.then you'll have a better chance of winning.

Done exactly the same myself before! Very quickly learnt how to retract when my heart was racing after bidding 150 instead of 1.50!
